Migrant and BiPOC entrepreneurs in Munich are building businesses, creating jobs, and enriching communities — yet when they walk into a German bank, too many walk out empty-handed. Not because their ideas lack merit, but because the system was not built with them in mind.

This challenge is well documented.

Through a Round Table convened with the City of Munich, the EU's INNOVATE project identified a critical gap in the local entrepreneurship ecosystem — a lack of culturally attuned, accessible financial pathways for migrant-led businesses.

MigraFounders is the direct response to that finding.

House of Oyoko which works every day to build inclusive leadership and dismantle systemic bias — applied that same DEI and inclusion expertise to the financial barriers migrant founders face.

What began as a structured pilot programme is growning into a full ecosystem, connecting founders with banks, grants, advisors, and each other.

Because no founder should have to navigate a foreign financial system alone.
