MISSION & VISION

What we stand for

Our mission is to make financial inclusion a reality for every migrant entrepreneur in Munich — and eventually across Germany and Europe.

Our vision is a world where your background opens doors, rather than closes them.

Our Principles of Inclusion

  • 01. Break down barriers

Identify, expose, and actively dismantle systemic biases in financial institutions that exclude migrant founders — using evidence-based DEI methodology.

  • 02. Champion cultural intelligence

We don't just translate words. We translate systems. Our support is designed around the cultural realities of migrant founders, not the assumptions of mainstream finance.

  • 03. Build community

Create a peer network where migrant founders share experiences, learn from each other, and advocate together for systemic change.

  • 04. Drive systemic change

Generate data-driven insights and policy recommendations to reform how banks engage with migrant-led businesses across Germany and Europe.

  • 05. Create lasting change

For individuals, institutions, and policy. MigraFounders is not a temporary fix — it is a movement towards a permanently more inclusive financial system.

OUR VALUES

What guides everything we do

Equity over equality

We tailor support to what each founder actually needs, not a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we outline a path forward that’s realistic, strategic, and tailored to your specific needs.

Radical inclusion

BiPOC founders, non-German speakers, newly registered businesses — all are welcome. No one is too early-stage.

Transparency

We are honest about what we offer, what we cannot do, and how your data and documents are used.

Community first

Decisions are shaped by the people we serve — not just by institutions or funders.

Cultural intelligence

We understand that money, trust, and business mean different things in different cultures. We design for that.

The people behind MigraFounders

MigraFounders is led by House of Oyoko — a team with deep expertise in leadership development, DEI strategy, resilience, and strategic communication for diverse and complex environments.

Evelyn is the founder and CEO of House of Oyoko and the driving force behind MigraFounders. With an MBA and certifications in leadership consulting, stress management, and diversity strategy (ISO 17024, ZPP), she has spent years helping organisations, startups, and migrant-led businesses build resilient leadership, inclusive collaboration, and sustainable performance.

Evelyn created MigraFounders because she saw firsthand how talented migrant founders are held back — not by lack of ambition, but by financial systems that were never designed for them. MigraFounders is the application of House of Oyoko's inclusion and leadership expertise to one of the most urgent gaps in Munich's entrepreneurship ecosystem: equitable access to finance.
